Kenzō Takada was a Japanese designer with humble beginnings. Growing up nearly broke, Kenzo had to find fabrics, a commercial space in Paris, and even models for cheap to make his dream a reality. His move to Paris, an unforeseen change, motivated him to make it big in the world’s fashion capital. During the 60s, a great time for innovative fashion, Kenzo worked from the ground up, from selling fashion sketches to settling for anything to make his brand official.
